Her single "There You'll Be" was the top-selling single in Europe and later became a global smash. Hill's next two albums Cry (2002), Fireflies (2006) and Fireflies (2006) were all commercial successes. The latter produced a cross-over single "Cry" and Hill was recognized with a Grammy Award. The latter single "Mississippi Girl", and brought Hill another Grammy Award.

From 2016 to 2021 she held the title of ring announcer Charly Caruso. She is currently a guest host on ESPN's First Take, where she moderates with Stephen A. Smith (moderator) and Molly Qerim (backup). Arnolt was raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her ethnicity is Italian American.
